Which Case Fits My Phone? How to Find Your Exact Model
The single most common reason a case does not fit is not a manufacturing fault — it is that the phone is a slightly different model from the one the buyer assumed. Here is how to be certain.
Finding your model on an iPhone
Open Settings → General → About and read the Model Name line. It will say exactly what you have, for example "iPhone 13 Pro". Do not go by the size of the phone or the number of cameras alone; several models share both.
Finding your model on Samsung, Honor, Xiaomi and others
Open Settings → About phone. The model name appears at the top, sometimes alongside a model code such as SM-S911B. If you only have the code, search it and the phone's marketing name will come up.
Why similar phones need different cases
- Camera cut-outs move between the standard, Plus, Pro and Pro Max versions of the same generation, and the camera area has grown almost every year.
- Button positions shift by a few millimetres, which is enough to make the side buttons impossible to press through a case.
- Body size differs by one or two millimetres between generations — small enough to look identical, large enough that the case will not clip on, or will fall off.
A rule that saves disappointment
Never buy a case listed for "iPhone 14/15" or similar unless the seller explains which parts are shared. Cases that genuinely fit two models are rare. Each case on our store lists the exact models it fits; if yours is not listed, it does not fit.
